Many Anglican, Protestants, Evangelicals and others struggle with any prayer to Mary, the Mother of Our Lord, Jesus. If you look at the following prayers, they are written as if TO one of one's own deceased relatives. As we ask one another to keep us in their prayers, many of us intercede to Mary. This is the same as the Wedding at Cana. Mary knew the Bride's father needed miraculous help. Mary went to her Son to assist. And we all know that request, as all others from His mother, was met with miraculous intervention on Jesus's part.Many of these prayers were taken solely or partially from Bible.        In His peace,  Sr. Kate, CJ Magnificat My soul doth magnify the Lord. And dwelt among us. Hail Mary... Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Hail Mary... Oremus (Let Us Pray) Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that, we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, Was made known by the message of an Angel, May by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Memorare Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known That any one who fled to your* protection, implored your help Or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful; O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, But in your clemency hear and answer me. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
